Oh my poor little blog

It has been months since I have blogged. I can't believe I just typed that sentence. My dear blog, whom I depended on so much when I was a first time new Mommy to Zoe. My outlet, my safety net because there were so many new Mom bloggers at the time. Life has just gotten to hectic. What with Facebook, emails and Pinterest plus raising two sweet girls, my little blog had just been left behind. I miss blogging, I truly do. I think another reason I quit blogging is because I was frustrated and I am still frustrated because I can never get photos to download anymore. I don't know what changed but I can't even get one photo to download in less than 10 minutes. It's ridiculous. If any of you have any suggestions, I will be glad to listen. Zoe is my 3 year old little social butterfly. That girl loves to talk. She talks from the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes to bed. She is such a sweetie pie and so darn tender hearted. I could just gobble her up with Love. She is a pure heart and she just wants to learn every little thing she can learn daily. Harper is 7 months old now and growing like a weed. I was just telling Bryan tonight, I feel like all I do all day long is feed that girl; oh and change diapers too!! No really, it feels like I can't get enough baby food/bottles in Harper. She is my little eater. she is trying so hard to sit up. She cracks me up, she uses her sleeper/clothes to try and pull herself up. She can sit for a few seconds in tripod position but then she falls right over. She rolls all over the living room and quickly. I can set her in the middle of the blanket and walk 10 ft, turn around and she is across the room, rolling style. She will put her knees under her but hasn't attempted to go forward or backwards yet!! She is pretty much the happiest baby ever and she is sleeping so much better. I really feel her little ears have given her so much problems but right now they are cleared up and you can tell because she is sleeping better. I love her so much and love her little laugh/smile. She lights up a room with her smile. It is pretty much the best smile ever!! Bryan and I are doing good. We celebrated our 8th Wedding Anniversary in August with a trip to Chicago. We took in a Cubs game and just fell in love with downtown Chicago. We loved it in the summer but I can guarantee we wouldn't love it so much in the winter. Things are good though. Our lives are hectic but filled with so much love sometimes I feel like I could just pop I am filled with so much love and happiness. Hope all of you are doing good. Oh how I miss my favorite blogs I use to follow. I will hopefully one day follow you again. Until then, I hope life treats everyone well. Enjoy each and every day because we aren't promised every day! Hug your loved ones tight tonight and always.

Harper Reese Cup

Oh our little Reese's Cup, I am about to post your 4 month stats and photos but in two days you will be 5 months. Why want time just slow down? I can't believe before we know you will be half a year old!! We are starting to see some of your personality shine through. It's so weird, for the longest time you just weren't a happy baby. You cried all day long and nothing seemed to console you but in the past month you are a different baby. You are happy all day long!! You still love to be held.....all day long but you are learning Mommy can't hold you...all day long!! You still will not sleep. You are definitely getting better but you have still yet to sleep through the night. Each night I think...tonight is the night BUT.... one day right? You rolled over for the first time at month 4. You roll from your back to your tummy and then back to your back again like a allstar, showing out constantly. You are so cute when you do it to, you are so proud and you smile so big, it is adorable!! You have started giggling now as well and I could listen to you giggle all day long! You are still sleeping in your swing some but you are starting to prefer your crib. I My fingers are crossed that we can get you out of the swing for good, seeing how you are about to outgrow it anyway! You are such a sweet, sweet baby and you absolutely LOVE and ADORE your sister. I love to watch your little face llight up when she talks to you. You watch her intently, studying everything she does....no doubt taking notes!!! You love for Zoe to read to you and she loves reading to you. I could watch you two interact all day! You two girls are the loves of my life, along with your sweet Daddy of course. I am so proud of all your little milestones you are reaching each day. Can't wait to watch you grow! We love you baby girl. I will be posting in just a couple of days your 5 month post!! Internet Explorer is not letting me download photos right now and it is late so I will post photos tomorrow hopefully!

Zo Zo you are three

My beautiful ray of sunshine,
You are the light in our days. You are joyeous, youthful, fun loving spirited, tenderhearted, kind hearted, precious, funny and most of all beautiful on the inside and out. Daddy and I love you so very much baby girl. We watch you every day blossom right before our eyes. We are still in disbelief that you are three years old. It seems like just yesterday we were scared and excited all in one, waiting on you to make your appearance in this world. Today at 3 you are doing some of the following things.
You love, love, love music. You own a drum, tambourine, flute, trumpet, piano, two guitars and a microphone. You play each of them daily. What were we thinking getting you a drum for your birthday....no more peace and quiet!!! You love to sing. It's so stinkin cute.
You love to read books. We are constantly reading which is such a wonderful thing. Some of your favorite books right now are Big Sister, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast, Three Little Pigs, Five Little Monkeys.
You love for Mommy to sing you lullabys all the time. I have to sing all of the following songs before nap time and bed time. Itsy Bitsy Spider, Jesus Loves Me, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, You are my Sunshine, Barney songs.
You have decided that you are going to be a Roll Tide fan....booooooo. Mommy is not happy about this, however your Daddy is ecstatic!!!
You love your little sister. You are still a little rough with her but we are working on it with you.
Your little sister loves you. She just smiles and giggles at everything you do.
You are still loving your baby dolls. It's is so much fun to watch you hold your baby, change your baby's diaper, give your baby a bath, rock your baby. You are very motherly with your baby dolls.
You always want to help me cook, do the dishes, do the laundry, water the plants, make the beds. This is a wonderful quality that I hope will stick with you as you grow older.
You are tender hearted just like me. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not but it is definitely a genuine quality to have.
You still won't eat. This drives me absolutely bonkers still to this day. I think you maybe gained a 1lb, 1.5 lbs in a year. You are just going to be little. I can't say much. I was 90 lbs when I graduated High School.
You are such a good sleeper. You always have been a good sleeper. You crack me up though, the positions that I find you in when I come in your room to check on you during the night. You could be in the floor, half on the bed and half on floor, upside down in your bed or sideways. I just turn you the right way and cover you back up.
You didn't go "under" the water but maybe 3 times this summer. We are working on this with you so hopefully next summer you will show some interest in learning to go under the water.
Zoe, you are the most amazing little girl. Your Daddy and I couldn't be prouder of the little lady that you are becoming. We admire your big heart. We love to make you laugh and hope you always laugh throughout life. Laughter is very important. We hope we are doing a good job guiding you. We love you so very much baby girl!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Harper 3 Months

Oh sweet Harper Reese: What are you up to at 3 months? Let me share!
You WON'T, absolutely WON'T sleep in your crib. I just don't get it. We have resorted to letting you sleep in your swing beside our bed. You will actually sleep in the swing. This is a fix for a little while but you can't sleep in a swing forever. What to do, what to do??
You are overall a very happy baby. You love to "talk" and smile. I haven't heard you giggle yet but I just know we will here it any day now.
You are just getting over your first stomach virus and ear infection. Poor baby you had both at the same time, not fun.
You have found your feet. It is so cute the looks you give your feet like hhmmm, what are these things and man do they taste good!!
You love to be held and let anyone know your unhappiness when you aren't the center of attention.
You love to smile at your big sister. I think you know she is your big sister, it's so cute!
You weigh 11'6 right now. I think with you being sick you lost a little weight but trust me you are definitely making up for lost time!
You are sitting up with the help of the bumbo. Everywhere we put you, you try and sit up, your car seat, in our arms, the swing. Slow down baby girl.
I swear any day now you are going to roll over. You are so close.
We love you little girl so very much. You are VERY different than your sister but we are learning to adjust to "YOU"!
This post is late again as you are almost 4 months old but like I always say better late than never.
All our Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Miss Harper at 2 Months

Little Miss Harper, Mommy is late posting this as usual. You are now almost 11 Weeks old and weigh more now than you did at your 2 month check up.

At your 2 Month check up your stats were:

10lbs 6 oz - 50%
23 Inches Long - 75%

You are such a sweet baby. You love to smile and coo (aka, talk to Mama) . You love your big swing, you would stay in it all day if we would let you. You are starting to get a little fuzz all over your head. Maybe some hair will come in soon! We are excited to see what color it is going to be. With Zoe her hair was platinum blonde right away but yours looks a little red!! You are waking up twice a night, sometimes 3 times. You are like clockwork, you wake up right around 3 and 5:30, although last night you woke up at 12, 3 and 5:30 but you went back to sleep until 8:15!! We are having a blast with you baby girl. You look like Mommy by the way and I am loving it! With your sister there was no denying and still not any denying who she looks like, your Daddy. I am so sad that I did not take a 1 Month picture of you in your chair to compare your photos but we will just have to start with your 2 Month photo for future reference. We love you baby girl! Can't wait to watch you grow.

How do you mama's do it

Ok, will someone please pass on to me how you do it? What you ask? Find time to clean, cook, take care of babies/toddlers, laundry, shower each day and still find time to blog everyday. I haven't even blogged in several weeks. I guess once we get into our "routine" life will be easier and there will be time for blogging. I really miss it and really miss all my blog friends. Things are going great, each day gets a little easier. Harper is sleeping through the night some nights. Right now we have been keeping her up with us until we go to bed. She is asleep this whole time but we just feel better with her downstairs with us until we go to bed. This is all about to change and so will her sleep schedule. Once she reaches 8 weeks we feel comfortable moving her to her crib. She is quickly outgrowing the bassinet anyway. She is almost the length of the bassinet. Once we move her to the crib we will move the monitor in there. I have to cut the cord with Zoe and the monitor. Right now the monitor is still in Zoe's room, mostly used at night in case she wakes up crying for us. I know, she is almost 3 and it is time to cut the cord. In two weeks it will be cut. Harper is eating like a champ and overall a pretty happy baby. She definitely went through a crying stage.....all the time but she is getting better and she is smiling so much more. She has a smile that just lights up the whole room. She has a beautiful smile. I can't believe she is almost 7 weeks already. We had to take her to Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital last Friday to have an ultrasound done on her hips. Dr. said because she was breeched that there was a chance for her to have problems with her hips down the road but we got the results today and our little girl is as healthy as can be.
Now for Zoe. She is our thriving little almost 3 year old. She looks so much bigger to me now that Harper is here. She weighs more to at least I think so but I didn't pick her up much towards the end of my pregnancy. Zoe is a mess, she definitely pushes the envelope with us. She is testing our patience so much. She could be worse though and I know this. She is a happy little girl and loves to play, play, play and wants us to play, play, play with her all the time. Zoe loves to play with her baby dolls, putting their "diapers" on, burping them, swaddling them, feeding them (and I do mean breast feeding them) this is hilarious to watch and also in a way I'm not sure if it's funny that she trys to breastfeed her babies or not. Should I not be doing this in front of her? Not sure how to keep from doing this in front of her anyway seeing how she is with me 24/7. Zoe is loving her new swingset, sandbox and sprinkler. Next we will get her a little pool. I am so very glad we decided to rent our condo and get a house with a yard. Life is good.
