I survived as I knew I would

Well we are back from our first trip away from Zoe and just as I knew deep down I would, I survived. We had a really good time with my crazy sister and the rest of the crew. I missed my baby terribly but got a reality check when we got back from our trip to pick her up....she didn't miss us!! I think she knows our voices but I am pretty sure she doesn't recognize us yet.

My parents had a ball with her and I am so gratefull that they allowed Bryan and I to have a "us" weekend.

Ok am I silly or what.....

So we are traveling to Biloxi Mississippi tomorrow for the weekend to celebrate my sister's birthday. Tomorrow is also the day that is predicted to have the most potential for tornados. The storms are coming from Mississippi through Alabama and Georgia so we will be traveling right into the storms. I am not liking this fact in the least bit. We will have baby girl with us until we reach Alabama, here we will leave her for the weekend with my parents. This is also super hard because it will be my first time without her. I am super stressed.....Argh!!

Broken Hearted

My baby girl got her first boo boo yesterday. Zoe fell over from the sitting position at daycare and hit her eye on her bottle that she had thrown on the floor in front of her. I did good though, I didn't cry in front of her....yep, I held it together...until she fell asleep on the ride home, then I let the waterfalls begin. I know she is going to have many, many boo boos and hopefully with each boo boo, my heart will relax a little and my brain can process that I can't always be there to protect her. Does the aching in the heart ever go away though???

Hey everyone...I say hey everyone but Kristi, I do believe you are my only follower...sad huh?? I do hope to get more people involved with blogging and starting their own page once I know how to blog myself. I still don't know how to make my page the way I want it, how to post favorite websites to share with others, how to post photos (size them correctly) and so on. Maybe soon I will. I have emailed Bo to find out if there are any blogging classes available. Anyway, any advice you can give is welcomed.

By the way, your blogs are a hoot! I think I would fit right in with you and your group, I'm a little younger (LOL) and an Auburn fan but I'm pretty Likeable, I think. I love viewing your blog and your other bloggers favorite websites/links. I am finding all kind of new stuff for my little princess. I am going to check out your friends site soon.
