Some things I want to remember

Time is just flying by and there are so many wonderful things happening with Zoe right now that I would like to document.

Zoe, you had your first swim lesson on April 17, 2010. At first you were scared to get in the water but you soon warmed up to the idea and had a blast "splashing" in the water.

You are so talkative right now, it is so stinkin cute. You are saying a little of your ABC's. You say A, B, C, D but X and Z are your favorites to say. You haven't quiet figured out the letters in between yet. You can count to 10 almost, with a little help and you are only 20 months!! You are repeating everything right now and starting to make small sentences. Some of your favorites words/sentences are:

Mommy Work
Daddy Work
Wiggles
My bankie
Boo Boo
Uh Oh
Shoes
Mommy's shoes
Zoe
Mama
Daddy
Book
Shoes
Elmo
Ball
My Baby
Music
My toothbrush
Me Me
Pop
Paw Paw
Nana
Scott
Be-ah but it is Bayla (our cat)
Cochie but it is Kaiser (our cat)
Outside
Baby
Baby Sit
Tea
My wagon
You can name lots of animals and their sounds

You are just talking up a storm. I love it, it's so cute.
Your little personality is starting to come to life. You love for me to hold you, no complaints by me what so ever. You love for me to tickle your arms and legs, you want let anyone touch your feet!! You love for me to make you laugh. You love to play in your kitchen and make tea. You want Mommy to drink "tea" with you all the time. You love for us to read you books. You are constantly bringing us books to read you. I hope you get this trait from me, I love to read and I hope you will to. You love to run in the nude. You hate for us to put your clothes on after a bath. I love to see your little naked butt running all over the house. You are just precious. You love brushing your teeth although you aren't very good at it yet. You were fascinated for a while with learning how to dress yourself, not so much anymore. You love to "pee pee potty" although you rarely go pee pee in the potty. We are working with you slowly and daycare has started working with you as well. We are still not pushing you but starting to slowly get you transitioned. I will secretly be a little sad to see diaper stage go....what am I crazy.....not one bit, just another sign that you are getting older. You have the best smile. I love to make you smile. I love when I get you out of your crib in the mornings and I am holding you and you pat my back, nothing beats this moment. I pat your back when I hold you and now you do the same for me. You still stink at eating. I still worry because you are just so skinny. I try to keep reminding myself not to worry, you are just little, I was little when I was your age but I still worry. You won't eat vegtables so we now puree green beans and carrots mostly and then put them in the spaghetti or whatever we are eating. You loved bananas for a while but now I think you are getting tired of them. Oh well, it is a constant guessing game with you. I know one day out of the blue your appetite is going to take off but until then the worry and battle to get you to eat remains. You are so smart baby girl. You are growing and changing so much everyday. We are having the time of our lives learning from you and loving you with every ounce of our heart and souls. You are God's gift to your Daddy and I and we treasure you. We can't wait to watch you grow some more into the beautiful little girl we know you will be. We love you to eternity and back baby girl.

XOXOXOXO
Mommy & Daddy

We had a "boo boo" at school

When I got to school to pick up Zoe on Friday the first thing her teacher said was "DON'T FREAK OUT"....ok, this is probably not the best way to start a conversation!! Zoe had fallen while running in the classroom and busted her lip. I was totally fine, no freaking out here. I know things like this are going to happen. Does it make me sad that I wasn't there to console her when she fell, VERY MUCH SO but I know she was in good hands. Her teacher put ice on her lip and gave her lots of TLC, I'm sure she ate the extra attention up!!

3 post in one day!!

Just wanted to include some 20 months photos of baby girl, oh okay, A LOT of 20 month photos but hey, who's counting when you have such cuteness to look at!! There are a few pictures of her Daddy and her, she and I and some of her Me Me and Pop (my parents). I love how they have just land for days for this girl to play on. I enjoyed spending time with my parents this past weekend and I think Zoe did too!!

First Swim Lesson

Zoe had her first swim lesson this past Saturday at the YMCA close to our house. She was cautious at first but definitely warmed up to the whole swimming thing by the end of the lesson. I wish I could have caught her face either with our camera or the video recorder when the instructor pushed her under water for the first time. She didn't cry one bit but she was totally shocked at what had just happened, she was a little trooper. We preceded to do this another couple of times but by the third time she was done!!! Her lessons are every Saturday from now until May 15th. I love that this is something her Daddy and I both get to experience with her.

Zoe's First Braves Game

We did it folks, we took the plunge, took a chance and took baby girl to her first Braves game....on opening day.....against the Chicago Cubs, could we have picked a more packed and sold out game than that? Have we completely lost our minds? Maybe but guess what, baby girl did Awesome!! She even fell asleep around the 5th inning...I mean come on, who falls asleep at a Braves game, especially when they were winning 12-3 at that time.....Zoe could!!! We had a great time. We even got down to the stadium at 1:30, the game didn't start until 4. We found a good shady part, had lots of snacks/water/milk for baby girl and just tailgated for a bit. We expected to stay maybe 3-4 innings tops, we made it until the 8th inning and we could have stayed the whole game but wanted to beat the traffic. Here are some pictures of Zoe in her pigtails and pink Braves shirt and also some pictures of her friend Malena who obviously wasn't feeling the Braves game that day! So cute!!

I Heart that Mothers Day is right around the corner. I love Mothers Day!! What a truly special day.

I Heart that I finally shaved my legs last night.....what.....TMI for you??

I Heart that one of these days I will do something for myself and actually go get highlights in my hair.....ONE OF THESE DAYS!!

Did I mention baby girl is 20 months....WOW!!

HERE ARE 20 MONTH PICTURES: I can't believe my baby will be 2 years old in 4 months, just simply amazing how fast time flies. Zoe is sooooo much fun right now. She is talking up a storm and counting to 10 these days, amazing!! It is incredible to watch her little personality blooming. She reminds me a lot of myself....hee hee, I like to say that at least. Love this little girl to pieces. She is my whole world and I am so glad to be her Mommy.

Zoe's Second Easter

Little late but here goes.
We started off Easter weekend by Nana and Paw Paw giving Zoe an Easter basket full of goodies on Friday night. She really liked her bubbles the most...go figure!!! Saturday morning we took her to Bryan's parents church for their Easter Egg hunt. She was so precious! This is the first year we've gotten to watch her hunt on her own, she is growing up so fast.
After the Church egg hunt we went to Bryan's grandmothers house for lunch. Zoe loves, loves, loves her Great Grandmother but most of all Bryan's cousin Amy. Zoe has always loved Amy since she was itty bitty. Amy has always been able to make Zoe laugh, so cute.
Saturday night we went to visit some of our friends and their baby, Turner (he just turned 1). Him and Zoe played with a little house for a bit but for the most part, they were just checking each other out....don't you get any ideas Mr. Turner...Zoe isn't dating until she is 30! Ha ha
We had dinner with Bryan's parents Saturday night and then Bryan and I slipped away for a couple of hours to visit some of our other friends. It was nice to get away for a bit even if it was only for a couple of hours.
Sunday was spent at church with all of Bryan's family minus his sister whom is in Tampa FL. We had a very special and blessed day celebrating Easter with family and we really enjoyed the Easter service at church as well. I am warning you, picture overload is about to take place. Love this little girl to pieces.
