After the park we went home for nap time. Once we woke Zoe up from her nap, we were off to do a little shopping for much needed clothes for this Mama. I went to New York & Company, can you say S-C-O-R-E!! Everything in the store was half off. I left with two shirts, a pair of shorts, a pair of capri pants and a dress for....drum roll please.....$56.00. I was ecstatic!!
After shopping, Bryan said I could choose anywhere I wanted to eat. If you know me, you know my absolute favorite thing to do in the Summer is sit outside for my meals. So, I chose of all places, Mellow Mushroom, a pizza joint right by our house. They have fabulous pizza and terrific greek salads.....my mouth is watering as I type this but the best part is they have a huge patio outside. It was kind of cool on this particular night though so we ate quickly.
Sunday we went to church and then came home and just relaxed for the rest of the day. Bryan cleaned the house, cooked dinner, gave Zoe a bath, changed diapers all day. It was wonderful, to just have a day off. I got a lot of snuggle time though with my baby girl and I completely loved every minute of it. My days of snuggle time with Zoe are numbered, I am aware of this, so I am eating up every minute I can with her.
We didn't go to Alabama this year for Mothers Day to see Bryan's Mom nor my Mom. We had been at both parents houses 3 weekends in a row prior to Mothers Day. We were at my Parents for two weekends in a row and then Bryan's parents the actual weekend before Mothers Day. April and May are busy for us because my Mothers birthday and Bryan's Dads Birthday are back to back at the end of April, first of May.
Here are some pictures of our sweet baby girl from Mothers Day. Her Daddy and her planted Basil and sweet peppers on this day too.
I am very, very blessed to have such an amazing family and support system.
To My Zoe,
You are my heart and soul little girl. You have taught me so much and continue to teach me every day. Your heart is pure and your sweetness is consuming. I love you with all my heart and I want you to know how special I feel not only on Mothers Day but everyday that I get to be your Mommy. I will always love you toot toot and I will always, always be here for you.
Love,
Mommy
P.S. - Looks like Mommy forgot to download the amazing pictures of us from Church. I will post those soon.
